WTT - 40k Painted Necrons for Early Period helm

Post by Syrfinn »

I know weird topic, but I was thinking of throwing these up on ebay, so I could buy a new helm, since I play Space Wolves again, but then the thought came to me, that I know some of you guys play 40k also and I might be able to cut out the middle man. :)

My pics are at home, so will take better pics tonight, but I have them out on my Facebook page, under my photos section. Just look for John Tibbs. Mine will be the one with a mountain bike in the profile photo, not the golden retriever, thats my dad. :) But that will give you an idea till I get home. They are painted in a desert bone scheme, instead of the normal metal. I have won a couple of painting awards in tourneys I have played with them in.

Retail its all worth over 1k, easily over 3000+ points of models here. Most are on resin skull bases.

What I am looking for in return.

$775 and thats including shipping, thats 60% of retail and $1.25 per mini painted, so yeah a bargain, :) or

A nice early period helm, preferably stainless unless its one of Knotwolfs, then we can discuss, since I really like his helms. I know early period is a broad term, but going back to my early period personna, but havent nailed it down to when yet, so helm will be a deciding factor. But between 400 and 900 AD. This can be a current used helm, or if an armorer is interested in doing a trade for a new helm for this, we can talk.

Will post pics up tonight when I get home. You should be able to get to my Facebook page, I dont think I have it closed off.

Thanks

edit - Kind of forgot to say this. I will consider straight out buys on this also, so I will entertain offers. Just remember retail its over $1000 and is also painted nicely. So please keep that in consideration on offers of money.

Whoops, forgot to list everything, will still add pics tonight.

1 Deceiver (painted)
1 Nightbringer (missing scythe, has a custom made one)
1 Lord on foot (painted)
1 OOP Lord on foot
1 Destroyer Lord on skull base(painted)
8 Flayed Ones
20 Warriors on skull bases (painted)
30+ warriors in different forms of putting together
15 Destroyers (painted) all destroyers and Destroyer lord are on jeweler screw posts.
9 Wraiths on skull bases (painted)
10+ scarabs (some painted some not)
2 Monoliths (painted)
6 OOP Destoyers - I used these as my Heavy destroyers (mostly painted) these are are also on jeweler posts

When i 1st read the title I thought you wanted 40,000 painted " somethings" to glue onto your hat! I thought " "my God, whatever they are they must be tiny!"

I like the paint scheme, especially on the monolith. How did you achieve that sort of marbled effect on the panels?

Also congrats on making one of the most usually visually boring armies in all of 40k really "pop". They look awesome, and whoever trades for this army will really make an impression on the table.

Forgot to mention, the destroyers are backwards cause thats how I store them. The top and lower halves are magnitized, so I can spin them around when I play them, and when they are knocked down for Will Be Back, I just spin the top around, instead of laying them down.
