• Bazubands: 16 oz. hardened leather made by House of the Wolf. Practically bomb-proof. These have protected my arms for six years and I only had to replace two rivets. $50 (plus $11 shipping)
• 5/8" Plywood Heater Shield, 30x24; garden hose edging; no basket, $20
• Aluminum Heater Shield, 30x24; no edging; no basket, $50

Bazubands are 11 inches wrist to elbow point and 10 inches round at the wrist
