Wanted: Leatherworking items

Post by Guest »

I spent a night at a fellow leather-smith's house, and was inspired to move along with my own products. Now I'm on the lookout for books, knives, tools, and any sort of other useful leatherworking stuff. Let me know if you have anything to offer.

If you get into tooling leather, and you plan to cut and tool use an angled ceramic blade in your swivel knive. Most swivel knives will come with a steel chisel like blade, don't bother with that blade. Spend the extra money and get a nice angled (mine is 45 degree) ceramic blade. You will be happy that you did.

If you don't mind if they are used, check out ebay, under "Leather Tools". You will be able to find just about everything that you are looking for at a fraction of the cost of new.
