I have a few helms for sale.Click on the link in my profile and you can see them. The checkered greathelm and the kettlehat.
Kettlehat is all 14 ga SCA legal, fits my 25" head.$50 that includes shipping. Why so cheap. I don't like it,it's ok but didn't turn out as good as I hoped. There's an extra set of holes under the brim, and the welds on the grill are solid but ugly. The brim is re-inforced along the edge with a 1/4" bar welded on and sanded down,it looks like a rolled edge.I fought in it once,I removed the chinstrap but will leave the padding in.
Checkered greathelm is from Sinrics pattern with a modified face to give more nose room. All 14ga,rivited,sca legal.unpadded no strap. You can remove the paint job if you want.Fits around a 25" head.$85 plus $10 shipping.
Trading,hmm..depends on what you have to trade. But trading is an option.

I am not sure exactaly how to measure head circumfrence, but above the ears its
23 inches(without padding). let me know if this is the correct way of measureing.

Swift_Steel, if you are not interested in the Kettle Helm, I most certainly am. It'll certainly fit my 22.5" head Image

Well I guess I'd better post this my email is getting crowded.
Both helms are already spoken for.I emailed both potential buyers and am waiting for replies.I've had God knows how many emails today about the kettlehat and only one for the greathelm.(shrug)
Swift_Steel,I didn't hear from you so I assumed you were not interested in either helm.If you were and I didn't give you enough time I apolagize.I feel like I violated some code of conduct by offering it and then accepting another offer before hearing from you.In the future If this situation happens again I intend to wait a full 48hrs before responding to any other offers or email the first party and simply ask if they are interested or not.

Rev. George,I tried to email you back but it won't send it,it did this to me the other day, eventually it will go thru.My server keeps rejecting your address.

pathfinder, you have great honor in your dealings. people could learn alot from you.
In response to the helm, sorry for not replying, I was unable to access my email for some time(long story....) but dont worry about the helmets, it was my fault.

another question, how much variance in helm size is posible, without causing undue flopping? (ex.,my 23" head would fit _"-_")

It depends on how good you are at padding. Remember Dark Helmet on SpaceBalls? his sallet was WAY too big. Image

Seriously, if you look at the SCA armour standards, if a helm fits that padding and your head, it's about perfect. Very much bigger and you can pad it, but it will likely be a bit floppy or cumbersome on your head. Smaller and obviously you don't get padding AND your head in without squishing your head. Image
