I thought I would drop in and let you folks take a look at the new style boots being offered from Westland Crafts. Since Stonekeep set the stage, I thought I would place these on Facebook for your viewing pleasure.

Taking a few pre-orders for these. No money down, just your good word you want them when they arrive. We will also be ordering a stock of them as well. We won't have a full compliment of the Taller boots, as they are a bit pricey, so if you want a pair, be sure to give a shout on this order. Closing the order on Saturday night.

The Tall boots are going to run around $150-$170 and both styles of the short boots are going to be around the $65-70 price range, of course if vibram soles are wanted, the charge is $10 extra. If you want to order a pair of either of these, give me a shout and I will get them in on the next order. We will be ordering some in to see how they go.

Are the WE-1400 model boots tongue-less? I really like the height of those.

I'll hopefully be able to order a pair of the tall boots with vibrams soon!

I believe they are tongueless. I haven't seen a pair in person. I will have some on hand in a few weeks.

WE-1400...that's one sexy boot! I'd buy a pair...

WE-1400 would prefer a lugged bootsole to vibram.... will they come in Oxblood? 10 1/2 wide or 11's please.

Can he make them with a more rounded toe?

Okay, I spoke with Westland and the boots do have a tongue. I will upload the picture later this afternoon. We will be ordering a full line of these from Size 9-13 in Natural, Dark Brown and Black.

I will ask about a rounded toe version.

PatternWeld, I will check on something close to the oxblood color you mentioned. If not, the natural can be dyed. We might be coaxed into dying up a pair.

You guys be thinking if you want to order some of these. If you get in on the initial order, the price will be a little lower. We won't take any money up front, just your promise that you want them. And if things go sour for you, we will just stock them and sell them. I will be getting an order together over the next few weeks, so if you are wanting something that we do not stock, give us a shout and we will put in the order. Sorry, but no custom orders as far as sizing at this time, just the regular patterns of the Westland Boots and shoes.

Color me interested...footwear that's affordable is very hard to find.

we 1200 and we 1400- both size 12 (or 13 if they run small)...interested in 1 pair each. wjhen will they be in stoock?

From the response so far, it looks like we will go ahead and place a fairly large order for the WE-1200 and 1400 boots. We will carry them in Natural, Black and Dark Brown. Ordering Size 9-13 for our stock along with what folks are asking for now. I will start the process of the order. As far as when they will be here, I am thinking about a month, but will have to talk to the maker to see.

We will also be experimenting with different soles as well. Something a bit thicker and rougher for those of you that want something to fight in. So stay tuned. I like the looks of these.

Does the size 13 actually run 13 or do they run small? Most most modern shoes/boots I can do a 13 if it's in a wide, or a 14 if in the regular sizes.

I am very interested in the Black in both Tall boots and the WE-1400.

Sized 9.

My wife has something similar to the 1400 and it survived a season of pretty constant eventing beautifully. I got them for her from Westland last Christmas.

Okay, I added a top down view of the WE-1400 boots to show the tongue of the boot. The We-1200s will have a similar looking tongue.
