I seem to recall there being somone here looking for a mac. I just accquired a performa, with monitor and suchlike. Im an ibm geek, know little about the beast. Has an internal cd rom, a gigish of hard drive space, color monitor. Seems to be in working order. Anyone want the thing?

You'll have to give more info than that for someone to know if they want it. A "performa" doesnt say much. I have a performa 400 out in the garage that anyone here can have if they need a paperweight but its worth little more than that. Performa was a line that mac came out with to make them a bit more affordable when they were priced out of line with all PCs.

How much do you want for it? I miss my old Mac, and it was just an LC III.

I would recommend the macs for dummies books, I started with them and progressed to working on macs, they are really helpful

Accdntprone,

Janos was right when he said there's a lot of Performas out there. If you can give me a model number I'll look it up in the used market and let you know what a fair price is for it.

If you want to take this off list, my email address is in my profile.
