Kay, so I'm looking to kit-bash up a steam punk gun, but as "air pirate of the corsairs" is the theme, I want the "grip" to be one of those brass saber style handles, with the big knuckle guard.
Anyone got an old one lying around, or know someone who does? I don't care if it's mounted to a sword.. loose would actually be better, because then I can bash it myself.
I just don't wanna dump a lot of money into it, if that's the case, I'll but a plastic one and work with that.
Figured this is the joint to ask.. I'm sure someone, somewhere, has a basket full of junk india sword fittings floating around!

Actually, I do.
Its off of an Indian made "Trooper" saber.
Shoot me a PM and we'll talk.

I have an entire hilt from a replica 18th century small sword.

I think Badger has me covered.
