Hi All, need to clear out the shelves a bit more. Here is the first book for sale:
I have a Very Good, Hardback copy of Embleton and Howe's "The Medieval Soldier". A great photobook on 15th Century Living History.

This book takes to a new level the technique pioneered in Windrow & Greene's military history list: the recreation in color photographs of the appearance of the fighting men of the past, their environment -- even their families. This book has immediate appeal outside the narrow definition of military history -- it features much attractive material on civilian costume, male and female, and on medieval life in general. The authors are both respected military illustrators, with a deep knowledge of medieval life and material culture. This expertise has been reinforced by remarkable practical experiments in reconstruction. They present a stunning range of nearly 300 color photographs of authentically costumed, armored and equipped live models, posed realistically in outdoor settings and historic interiors in Continental Europe and Britain. The accompanying text is rich in specific detail on many aspects of 15th century life and warfare, drawn wholly from primary research sources in several languages during many years of study.
