Has anybody done business with these people? Recently? I ran across their website yesterday, and they offer beautiful and wonderful stuff. Medieval furniture, from an Oseberg bed to ornate thrones, benches, trestle tables, etc.

HOWEVER: 1-They don't seem to have updated their site since 1999. Orphan site? Then why is it still up? 2-They only have line drawings, no photographs of their wares. 3-I couldn't even find a general price range, or a base price for any of their items. 4-No address or location given - are they in Australia? If so, that would be nice to know, as shipping charges would double the price of a chest.

Any info?

They are local boys (for here).

This is Sir Corny's white company in business action.
They are based in Brisbane and do a good job. They are occassionally slower then they claim to be (mentally add a couple of months to every order you make and the owrst that will happen is that you will be pleasently surprised when stuff arrives on time).

The stuff that Wulfgar builds (cockeral) is every bit as nice as the pics (nicer, actually). the man is an artist and a second generation woodworker. The armoury side of things is handled by Sir Cornelius and he is also a damned good armourer within his period. He sometimes sacrifices comfort for acuracy...but you can negotiate that with him ahead of construction.

These people have recently moved their ramshakle workshop across town and have had no time for website updates as they are working flat-out most of the time (they do a lot of work for Warner Bros studios on the gold coast).

These people may be "optimistic" about their deadlines but they will NOT cheat you and their work is of outstanding quality.

Sasha.

Thanks!

Their stuff looks awesome, but shipping to the states may be a real pain. I guess they will know if it can be done/how much it would cost.

Now I gotta narrow it down... I want it all!

Thanks again!
