I've never had a single issue with paypal, works great for me.

Like any company they can be retarded, I can only imagine what dirt you could dig up on other payment methods.

Often the money from the order is paying the shipping costs. Paypal has held money up to 15 DAYS! For no apparent reason. This delays delivery on an off the shelf item which defeats the purpose of having ready made items ready to ship on instant turn around. I try to get things to people as quickly as possible and as cheaply as possible and paypal works against me more than they help. You can mail in a check and have it cleared faster than their electronic service. The costs involved in taking cards would add to much to the items I sell to make it worth having a CC machine. They bill me 3 ways and the customer as well. I am sorry for the inconvenience that this causes but until there is a better way we will only take checks or money orders in an effort to save our clients as much as possible

Thank you

I can vouch for the bit about arbitrarily holding money, although the end result was totally worth the wait.

I know April, and her charity works - I figure that she's helped raise over a million bucks for various charities.

As someone's .sig here on the Archive notes "Mean and funny is still funny", and while the Regretsy site DOES poke fun at some of the stuff people post on Etsy, she also DOES do a shitload of work for charity - so in my mind, it balances out pretty well, especially since the whole PayPal flap occurred during and attempt to use PayPal for charitable purposes.

Wow! I am amazed at how unreasonable Paypal has been in this case. Personally, I think you have all the reason in the world to be upset, and I agree with you. I prefer to rely on good old fashion honesty with a cashiers check in the mail to a seller. So far, I haven't had any issues with honesty from the folks on the Armour Archive.

Her dad is a childhood inspiration for me, too. :)

read it.. see what's being mocked.

You'll quickly understand.. that someone wanting a hundred bucks for a pre-used and stained "hand made" moon cloth deserves mockery.
