Who does solid work in stainless?
I have a friend looking for some 5-lame elbows and knees, and some simple spaulders, in stainless. Doesn't need a mirror finish. He's starting off, so needs economical, and he just needs unstrapped armor, since I'm hooking up the leatherwork for him.
Who should I look at?

I would PM Donngal and see if he is open for commissions right now. I know hes just getting out on his own and does great work in whatever metal you want.

I'm sure the price depends on what he wants.

Stonekeep.
If Stonekeep doesn't have what you need in stock, James River Armoury does excellent work for better than reasonable prices, but I'm not sure whether he works in stainless or only in mild.

I can work in stailess if it does not require welding. I have and can do that order. I am a little slow right now and would be interested. I allready have the needed materials.

James River is doing my spaulders in stainless, and Known World Treasures did my helm in stainless.
I'll wait and see on how James River Armoury does on getting my spaulders done as soon as requested before I give him a review, but I would absolutely recommend Known World Treasures, 100%.
Eric has done good by me in the past, and his prices are fantabulous.
KWT did some great work at a good price.

Re: Who does solid work in stainless?
I'd go KWT unless cheapest price is your main concern. You will get more than you pay for from KWT, IMO.
The articulation from JRA can be a bit hit and miss. I've seen several examples that were smooth through the whole range and others that would'nt straighten past 90% because of over peened rivets or misalignments. Even then his prices are low enough IMO that I'd not complain about having to replace a few rivets.
Stonekeep makes a solid product and seems to be moving to an "off the shelf" business model.
Bokalo should be comming back soon and shouldn't be ignored as a viable choice.
Also don't forget about Rough From the Hammer.

We can do that all for you very easily. Our economy armor range is well within most price ranges and most of our regular gear is on sale.
