Hello, I am looking for someone who would be willing to make a brass plume holder for my helmet like the one in the picture. Anyone have any sugestions?

I think that is just a hole drilled in the top. I also think since this is St George that the feather is there because he was Turkish and it is more of an artistic license in which the artist is saying "Hey look this guy is Turkish so he has a feather on his helm."
This is my sword. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My sword is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My sword, without me, is useless. Without my sword, I am useless.

I believe that it was an actual holder and was a style in France for a bit. There are quite a few examples showing this and a couple of them actualy show what might be the holder itself.

I found at least two good examples on bascinets at the historical museum in Vienna, and what appears to be a plain plume hole in one of the helmets at Leeds, here (starting about 2/3 down the page):

I actually made one based on that very image. Very easy to make yourself actually, I just used sheet brass, a little brass tube section, and glue.
