I have a box full of Cocobolo scraps from when I used to work at Lie-Nielsen tool works.

Most of it is the dark heartwood, but some pieces have the light sapwood on them.

Most of these pieces would be good for pocket knife scales, there are a few that might be good for pen turnings, and then one larger piece that might be good for turning something else.

I can take pictures.
There is probably $50 worth of pieces, I will sell it for that shipped.

Cocobolo is one of my favorite woods on the planet. It's greasy and buttery and takes tooling VERY easily. That said, it's also one of the highest ranked for incidents of allergic reaction. If you are going to buy these and work them, PLEASE wear real breathing protection if you sand, cut, or turn it!

Cocobolo is whats known as an "Allergin trigger" if you are not allergic to wood it can MAKE you allergic to wood. ANY type of wood.
