Knotwolf Helm FS
I bought this here on the archive a few months back, and despite how much I love this helm, it's time to part ways. Why, you ask? Well, the only thing better than a secondhand Knotwolf helm, is a brand new Knotwolf helm. So, in order to pay for my new, I must sell the old.
Brass bling, riveted mail drape on the back that is backed with leather, strapped at two points which comes together to hold the front and bottom of the chin, padded for a 23.5" oblong head (will fit 24" with some padding adjustment, I would guess) more specific measurements available on request. The steel has a very nice patina pattern, it was made like that, I didn't leave it out in the rain. Anyone who has owned, or even held a Knotwolf, knows how solid the construction is, this one is no different.
Originally purchased on the AA for $425 plus shipping (was $600 new, I'm told), and I have only worn it 3 times in SCA combat since I received it, so I would like to get what I paid for it. If I wasn't buying a new Knotwolf, this one would stay with me for a very long time.
**Second post coming, to show closeups of brass

Re: Knotwolf Helm FS
We have two members of our fight group who have been drooling over the Knotwolf site. I have forwarded the link to this ad off to them. Hopefully this will fit one of them.

What's that leather piece hanging down from the gorget ?
Is that part of your neck protection ?

Yeah, it's just some extra neck pro. It was tied on and since I have a long neck, I just left it on.

Here's shot of that one when new. Happy to answer any questions about it.

Having seen and handled it personally, this is a very good price.
