Hi everyone,

I'm letting some old kit go, because I need to invest in my jousting kit. Next season I want to have everything in great shape, so if I can get rid of this it will give me a bit more financial breathing space.

Sallet and bevor, mild steel. Made by White Rose in the UK. Both in used, but very good condition. Bevor 100 EUR, Sallet 400 EUR, excl. shipping.
Inner circumference of the sallet: Ca. 59 cm. My head is 56 and I had to pad it thoroughly.
(exact measurements can be made on request)

Old mild steel arms, still functional, but have seen a lot of action. Great for a beginner on a budget. Made by Petr Brozek, CZ. 75 EUR, excluding shipping.

Pig face bascinet, mild steel, by Petr Brozek, CZ. My very first helmet, bought in 1999. One size fits giants. Makes a great archery target. 75EUR

Kaos,

At first I couldnt see the pics, (at work), but then found a differnt computer, and was able to see them. Im not sure my head is "giant size", but its pretty big. (25") What gauge steel are the helms/bevors/arms?

Mike

Hi everyone!
I didn't anticipate that much interest in it, haha. :D
It's 1.6 mm. The sallet is sturdier than the rest, but I can't tell if it's actually thicker than the other items. For now it seems the bevor, arms and the bascinet are as good as sold.

The quality sallet is still for grabs, I'm selling it because I've got a really high end one-piece spring steel sallet now, so I can't justify holding on to this one.

Sallet is too small for my head or I might be tempted.

If you ever want to part with the brigandine let me know.

Where did you buy the plume holder for the back of your Salet?

The plume holder was supplied by the same company who made it: White rose armouries in the UK. I'm sure they do sell them separately.

The arms are sold, the sallet and bevor is pending. The bascinet's in limbo as well.
