Re: New Kronos helm for sale
I sure hope you meant 27" inside circumference, and not diameter.

Otherwise, that's a huge helm!Inside diameter is 27 inches.

Re: New Kronos helm for sale
Yes you are correct the circumfrence is 27 in. it measures 9 1/4 front to back and 8 side to side. The eye slots are 3/4 in. The breath holes are 1/2.This is a very solid helm and meets all SCA standards. I know I dont have the reputation that others have here. I have been making armour for over 10 years. Do you think this is priced too high? If so let me hear your feedback.

I have dealt with Kronos, and I have found him awesome to work with. His armour is well made and fits right. You will not be disappointed to buy armour from him.

Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
Bumped. really? a helm like this for $400 and nobody is interested?
Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
Don't take it personally. Bad timing as it is right after the holidays but before tax rebates arrive...
For what it is worth it is a good looking helm.

Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
It's an amazing helm and clearly worth the money.. I'm not in the market.. but if I was, I'd buy it.
Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
If I was doing a 'Crusader' era kit, I would be on this like Thorvald on a beer.
Really nice hat!

Agreed, really great work. If I didn't already have my crusader kit or if I wasn't moving to a 15th century German kit I would be doing a lot of extra "honey do's" for the Mistress of Finance.

Its really nice work, but not my period or style.
I think the price is quite fair, though.

Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
It's very hard to sell a helm for what it is worth right now. Folks don't have the money to spend on them and there are so many really nice used ones going for super cheap.

Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
Well looks like this is going to collect dust on the shop shelf.. This is why I dont post my armour for sale here!!!
Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
I generally take helms to events and practices, put a litte for sale sign with the price on it and or best offer on the bottom. generally they sell in a couple months. do that enough and people will just come to you with what style they want and let ya go nuts making whatever in the price agreed. Makes for a much more pleasant armoring than doing direct commissions and tryin to hawk wares everywhere.

If I wasn't so broke right now of buy that helm right now, right up my alley but I don't think you take payments.

Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
Most of my work is comission, bring me a drawing or pic of what you want and I can usually make it. I made this in hopes of a fairly quick sale to pay on my storage unit so I can get the rest of my shop out. See my house burnt during Pennsic this year(while I was there at Pennsic) and what did not get looted while wating on the fire martial to investigate got put in storage. Got behind on the storage payments. Now I have orders comming in and need whats left of my tools. Was trying not to spew my sad story but it is out there now. Will make other arrangements to recover my tools... Thank you for your time.
Re: *UPDATED* New Kronos helm.
yikes! That is the SUCK! Sorry man, hope things turn around for you.
