My prototype on my new style of trestle legs. Very sturdy, and pleasing to the eye. Moving to Missouri this week from Minnesota so am cleaning out the shop so I have less to pack.

For the next 3-4 months it will be in Versailles (I wish it was the palace), and then when the girls are out of school in Minnesota, my wife and daughters will move down here with me and we'll be living in the Springfield area. A turkey company called Aviagen has tempted me away from the turkey breeding company I work for now, with a promotion and more money + I'm sick of Minnesota.

What type of wood was used? And is that just basic red latex paint, or a stain?

These are pine, and it was one thin coat of oil base red paint to give it a red stain look.
