Wanted- shield boss

Hey all
I have a really sweet shield blank I picked up, nice teardrop shape. Problem is that there is an 8" (!) hole cut in the middle for a boss. The location is right, but the size is bigger than average. Would some kind person be willing to make me a boss out of aluminum with an 8" opening, and about a 1" lip around the edge? I may make it myself, just thought I'd post & see what people here thought.
