WTB: Used bascinet. Klapvisor or pig face

Post by Sir Pembroke »

I'm looking to pick up a used bascinet. SS or Mild. Condition negotiable.

First choice would be a klapvisor, with a grill, also. But not overly picky.

Looking to Buy, but if someone was interested in trade....I'm also a jeweler. I do coronets (and have even done a set of Princeipality coronets), custom plaques for plaque belts, and peerage collars.

Yes, Sir Payne is correct ..needed for SCA combat.

Unfortunately, that one helm has a bar grill. I'd have to commissions a visor, and by that time, I'd be at a cost that I could get one new.

Still looking.

Thanks!

Hi Sir Pembroke,

Actually, although I am also selling that other helmet. I was thinking about the helmet shown below. As you may notice, I'm emptying out my armour chest ;)

It's new and unused, made out of 2mm steel. Still needs a chinstrap installed, and liner etc..

sizing info;

(front to back): approx. 23 cm
(ear to ear): approx. 18 cm

Asking price is 200 euro excl. shipping.

Cheers,

Jan

Is this really Stephan of Pemboke, or is someone resurrecting an old West Kingdom joke? ;)

Good to see you back, Your Excellency.

I will vouch for him Your Grace. He showed up at a Seattle practice last fall and I harangued.

Oh Your Grace, my old friend...lol

I can prove its the real Stefan of Pembroke...

...remember when we were a couple of squires? Carrying the beer keg around the event that night? Squires night out? "Bring out your squires!"

Yes... Sworn knight of An Tir these days. You still in the West?
