I wanted to give a huge shout out to Gwen @ Historic enterprises for customer service!!!

I put an order in and while traveling and they got right back to me, and got the order out. We had some confusion on the package, due to Phone tag such from travel and due to me being too big and size concerns for stock items. I also have to return and item due to MY mistake on ameasurement given ! I contacted them on email and today Gwen solved all my needs without any problem, same day !! It was and incredible bit of customer service !!!! It is almost enough to make me want to wear later period stuff more often !

Everything I got was well made and very nice! and had an incredible turn around time !

I would defiantly buy from them again !

I've said it before, I'll say it again.
Gwen (and HE) rocketh mightily.
I had a very similar situation to his Grace's, and had exactly the same results.

Gwen is awesome and HE stuff kicks ass. My cothardie garnered many compliments at Eastrella this year. Well done Gwen!

I'll echo this 5/5. I had a sizing issue (of my own fault) and for a very small amount they made me a custom sized pair of pants. I will buy from them again and often.

They have rocked for many years!
That being said, I wish they made more 16th Century stuff!!

I would be unforgivably remiss if I did not give credit to my fantastic assistant Pam, who I affectionately call 'Number One'. I may be the Captain of this creaky wreck, but she's often the boots on the ground who does the work when I say 'Make it so!' (which I actually say, and she, not being a Star Trek watcher, doesn't really understand but kindly humours me anyway. She doesn't get why I took to calling her 'Number One' either, but that's another story.) I may be the one answering your email at 1AM on a Sunday, but she's the one who gets your order shipped out by 10AM on Monday so you have it for your event.

So, thanks very much for your kind words, and your continued support. We've worked hard to earn your trust and your business, and I am so pleased to see it's paying off.
