what are some sites that i can order chainmail from to put on my helm?

Try Icefalcon...he probably has a few aventails in stock, all you'd need to do is attach it to the helm. Quick search of 'aventail' on his site:

www.kultofathena.com and http://therionarms.com/ Both have inexpensive butted Camails, but you will be fixing those or replacing frequently.

if you want something better, IceFalcon is a good choice.

If you are ok with welded then what about master Knuut? Many recommend his products here.

Welded of course is not authentic but the way he makes his links it looks convincing to all but the most discerning eyes.
