Heavily etched Beaker

Post by PartsAndTechnical »

I am heading up an educational project building a mid 17th century house. I need to get a good trailer to haul the tree trunks/logs to the site, so Im putting a bunch of stuff up for sale to fund the trailer.

Cant remember where I found this. Its brass, heavily etched (fairly deep) and hefty. Its also fairly tall, at about 4-5 inches My guess is that it dates to the latter 19th or early 20th century, thought it could very easily be 15th through 18th in 'general design.' I know several inexpensive tin-plating folks who can easily tin the cup for drinking...so you could use it.

Im very fond of this piece, reluctant to sell it. Asking 85 obo.

Similar historical styles, from 15th to 17th century
