I'm looking for some SCA heavy fighting tidbits and wondered if anyone had some to trade for stuff from my site (see link at bottom)... what I'm looking for:

1. 9 ft spear (I think it's a fiberglass shaft these days)
2. 1 pair large gauntlets (stainless is a plus)
3. a set of full articulated legs or knees (a little on the large size, but not too tall)
4. I'd throw body armour out there, but I doubt anyone has anything laying around that would fit me... so I'm probably on my own on that one.
5. A nice pair of half gauntlets (large)..stainless a plus
Now, I know there are lots of you out there who'd love to SELL me these things... but I'm cash poor... but I do have steel in my garage and there are some things I do well (just not that many)

If I had the time, I'd definitely trade you some gauntlets (full, half, or both) for some baskethilts. Maybe things will open up sometime soon...

Y'know POD... as I recall, you do maille, don't you? I'd be happy to trade for an aventail if you have one laying about.

You mean like this one:

It's 16ga 3/8" stainless steel Euro 4-1 with Kingsmaille dags. I can check the circumference and let you know how big it is if you like, but think it is 30" around

Or I can just make you another one if you like. Feel free to email me

Yep POD, something just like that...

I'd have e-mailed, but my e-mail is a little squirrely still since we had to "quick restore" (read re-format) our computer since it was behaving badly.

I'm gonna check my e-mail setting here, but it should be sbvast@yahoo.com

Though, for the life of me... I don't know what I could make that you probably couldn't do just as well or better yourself Image Your skill level seems to be progressing along at a wonderful pace!
