Re: Crazy Big garb'Sale auction
Interested in "B" but can't do pick-up. I'm probably willing to pay for shipping to Western Canada - can you drop me a PM please?

Re: Crazy Big garb'Sale auction
I don't want to have to ship or manage the vice, hence the pickup only.
I know Thaddeus is interested and he can pick it up in person and toss it in his truck.
It would likely have to go freight and that's troublesome due to my location.

Re: Crazy Big garb'Sale auction
B. $85 Picked up, I need to refurbish or replace my aging 4" post vice.
Scott you ought to be able to find one locally that isnt prohibitive. Check with your local ABANA affiliates, or failing that a road trip down to the puget sound area might be worth while. I know there a couple of large blacksmiths around the Puget Sound area. Nimba anvils is out in Port Townsend on the Olympic side.

Re: Crazy Big garb'Sale auction
I'm in Canada, so my nearest ABANA is probably in the Sea/Tac area. Since my WAG for shipping is >$60 (plus the hassle of customs,) I think that I'll let Thaddeus grab this one. These are *awesome* tools to have for serious work.

Re: Crazy Big garb'Sale auction
Scott, Canada's a big place... But you have http://blacksmith.org/forums/ sort of generically listed as Northwest and http://www.viblacksmiths.com/ on Vancouver Island. Check out the maps there, it looks like there are all kinds of shops inside of an easy day trip if you are too far north of the border.
