Greetings

In case anybody here might be interested, I have some axes for sale. They are comprised of 5160 spring steel, have walnut handles, and are sharp. The axes that you see in the pics are the actual axes being sold. Each of the axes are $150 plus shipping except the large one pictured which is $250 plus shipping. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Custom orders considered also.......

Here is a link to a set of pics for these axes:

Are the sockets "D" shaped (with the flat on the butt end) or are they more modern ovoid (drift punched)?

These are so very tempting as axes are one item vacant in my weapon arsenal.

Hail Cian!!

Nice question in regards to the sockets...... the socket style varies with the different styles of heads but they all have either a ovoid shaped socket or a round shaped socket but none have a "D" shaped socket. A couple have a square back to the head itself but not in the sockets themselves. So in regards to the axes pictured, from left to right, numbers 1,2,3,4 have ovoid shaped sockets and numbers 5 and 6 have round shaped sockets. All are glued and wedged to secure the head to the haft.

From this run I still have 1,3,4,5 available at this time ready for immediate shipping. :-) Please let me know if I can send you one of these and I will get it to you asap.

Thanks

Grimr

p.s. -- You NEED one of these axes.............. :-)

Hail Kenric!!

I will try to get some up by the end of the day.........I don't know how to put them in the thread itself but I will put them up as an attachment after I shrink them down below 100k. :)

Thanks
