Well everyone I've been reevaluating what I want to do in the SCA lately and I've decided what I really want to do is Cut & Thrust and Rapier. This means I need some cash to fund the transition.

Item the first: Ice Falcon White Gamberson

This is a size XL and lightly used. The sleeves are way too long and loose for me. Also I am in Meridies, home of humidity, and need something that breathes better.

Item the second: Completed Mad Matt Coat of Plates Kit




This is a size 44 of the famous Mad Matt Coat of plates kit. The shell is canvas. I do have the shoulder blade plates.

Item the 3rd: Viking Leather 3/4 leg armour with simple cop

3/4th leg armour that has seen a lot of use. Perfect for loaner gear as it has been strapped to hang from a belt. One of the legs needs a little extra leather added under the cop as when it bends the leather will pop out and lock up the leg. A quick hit fixes it though.

is the cop steel or alum?

It is 18 gauge mild painted with a clear coat to protect it. I've had it for years and never had to worry about rust.

Dibs on the coat of plates pending price. What did you have in mind on that?

I am really looking to trade for the following items:
1) Cut and Thrust legal visor for a bascinet
2) Cut and Thrust legal 14th century torso protection
3) 14th century thigh high riding boots size 9
4) Hardened leather or metal gorget

I've never seen high riding boots in 14th century sources, so that one might be hard to get.

I'm interested in the legs is you decide to sell them for cash.

The boots I'm talking about are the kinds found here, and here. The Second link calls them riding boots and quotes "The Book of The Hunt" as a source.

Still do. The chest measurement is correct.

CoP is sold pending payment. Gamberson and legs are still up for grabs. Gamberson fits in a flat rate shipping box.

Bump. Gamberson is still available at a great price. This thing retails new for $250. Legs are also still available. Would make a great loaner pair.

Was the gambeson used to fight in, or just worn to inspect fit? Is it sweat stained?

I fought in it for 30 min once and wore it as garb at an event. No sweat stains and it has been wasjed.
