Anyone have a single yard of of medium weight red wool flannel or red linen (or hemp) canvas laying around? I've been looking around at vendors online and haven't found something quite right yet and I literally only need a yard, possibly even slightly less.
Plan is for a handsewn Elizabethan unsleeved waistcoat/petticoat to be worn beneath doublets or looser-fitting sailor clothes. Ideally I'd like the red to be not overly bright or eye-searing, possibly in the range of madder or brick red.
Thanks for looking!!!

Good luck! Totally unfairly, with only the wierdness of the paths associative memory can take you, I for some reason transported to the 1980's routine of how Mchael Jackson (only) wanted to buy "one whiiite glove.."
