Best Xiphos / Chalcidian for sale
up for sale is a custom xiphos by Diskouri. This is about as close to a historic sword as you can find out there. Blade is forged high carbon ( 5160 IIRC ) and handle is proper scale tang with bronze guard and pommel. Blade was left in forge finish as agreed by me and the maker. Blade has a sharp convex edge, could be made sharper with a little effort. Handle is faux ivory. Overall 24" blade is is about 18" weighs apprx 2 lbs
