Norman Spangenhelm for sale

The crown jewel of Schreiber's 2012 finishing old projects effort: a Norman helm.
It's based on something:
http://www.time-lines.co.uk/norman-four ... 032-0.html
Loosely, of course. The cheek plates and nasal are conjecture. I also didn't flush-set the rivets for obvious reasons.
I really like the idea from an SCA standpoint because the seams go right on the sweet spots of the helm, so there's a double layer of metal right where it's going to get hit most.
Construction is 14g mild with 1/4" bars. Back slats are 1/8x3/4.
Inside and bars have been painted.
Now for the bad news: this is a size small. I've had it on four different heads all around 21". My wife's head is 21" and she actually has plenty of room with a 5/8" liner inside (not included). If necessary I'll collect the sizes of the other heads it's been on.
Price is $450.
