Full Metal Jousting Style Vamplate/Grapper

Post by Lloyd »

Due to another concussion, my playing days are really over. To this end, I have no use for a set of heavy armour vamplate/grapper. These are the types initially developed by armourer John "Shark" Perry and are used by the Knights of Valour, the Knights of Mayhem and as seen on Full Metal Jousting and The Knights of Mayhem.

They are set for a 1 1/4" lance - are used and not painted. Looking to get $100 for them both and I'll cover shipping within CONUS. I'll try and get some pictures of them this weekend.

Thanks, Dale, at least we got to joust last May. I think once you get to a certain point with these damn things you can concuss yourself with a hearty sneeze. I figure that I can still coach and judge and help out on the field though.

It would've been good to see you compete again Lloyd, but personal health and safety is paramount. Better you realize it, than for it to happen and well...you've seen those who've gone on too long in a given sport.

They are exactly like these:

Same exact condition, they have been used, but the ones I have haven't jousted since 2007. The welds are all very solid and well done - lances are not included (I have some, but shipping would be HUGE)
