Scrap Leather Gorgets

As part of the teaching process with a possible new employee, I have two hardened leather gorgets that I am selling as scrap. Hopefully someone can get some use out of them. I apologise for the model in the pics .

Gorget 1:



Made from 7-9oz leather (measured as 0.2" after hardening), 2" high collar with rolled away top and bottom to allow for extra head movement, with 5oz leather for attaching a standard. The front and back plates (4" x 5.5") are hardened 7-9oz leather. Comes with a short strap and a buckle attached. Front plate is burnt and warped a little from too hot a cure temperature.

Gorget 2:


Same front and back plates, with a 1" collar and no straps (holes for strapping are there). All hardened leather.
Asking $5 + shipping

Shipping is via USPS flat rate or regional (whichever is cheaper). Both can fit in a small box together so $5.50 shipping for one or both.

I'll take both. I'm playing around with a hidden/integral gorget/mantle/haubergon combination and I think one of these might do the trick. But I'm not sure which so I'll take em both.

Received today. Great product for the price and exactly as described. Also he through in a pattern and some bonus pieces. Yay bonus pieces! Definitely would recommend Ben based upon this, albeit minor, transaction. I'll post pics when I finish my project up.
