FS Merctailor Spaulders w/ Steel Borders

Post by AL »

I have for sale a pair of the spaulders we used to do. Made from 16 gauge CR steel, they have steel rivets, and scalloped steel trim on the edges of the lowest lames. Hand rolled and counter sunk borders and beveled edges where appropriate. Articulates on leathers, front and middle and slot rivets in back. Includes hand made buckles in steel strap mounts. There are two eyelets at the tops for pointing but I will install buckles for attaching to a gorget free of charge if desired. I have 14.5 inch biscepts and took arm harness into account when building. I can alter curvature some for sizing if neccessary. Like to get $60 plus shipping.

Feel free to ask questions. Paypal, check or MO are fine.

Actually Bruce after having done several of these in brass I liked the look of how yours came out so much I decided to see if they would appeal to anyone else.

I have a blackened pair of these- best bang for the buck you're gonna find. Hmm...I do not have a regular satin set, though. Allan, what's shipping on those to 20720?

I would be interested in a set of these. I would be VERY interested in a blackened set of these.

Huh, that's a cool idea with the steel trim. Bump for a great armorer!

So I was the buyer on the hook for these, but life happens and my funds reserve has evaporated. I apologize, Al, and I'm putting it here to bump these back up to the top of the for-sale list. Somebody pick these up from Al and take some solid hits for me.
