They did that to me, left a "undeliverable, returned to post office" email, but left no card.. and I had gotten the mail from the mail guy myself that day, and they turned up with it the next day. I asked if it had already been attempted and she said "nope. This just came in this morning"...

I _think_ what happens is their tracking system has glitches, and the glitches actually override the living breathing humans who are working on the packages.

"the computer says it was undeliverable, ship it back".
"But we just got it in this morning!"
"The computer SAYS it's undeliverable, SHIP IT BACK!"

etc.

Another time we got a delivery confirmation on something we had requested tracking on.. showed delivered, signed for, and the address it was delivered to was four blocks away.

I just received an empty box from usps with the end of box ripped open and a stamp saying "missing contents". It was a new large aventaille I ordered from Master Knuut. I sent him an e-mail stating what has happened a week ago but so far no response. I hope I'm not out 225.00 and hope he can replace the lost or stolen aventaille. He was recommended to me by Ruthardis who builds awesome viking helms.

James, Knuut is a solid dude, no doubt about it. Now the USPS coughing up the cash? That's who you need to be worried about.

Didn't say it wouldn't look appropro, only that as far as usefulness goes...well, there you are.

Never underestimate the importance of fabulous decor (says the landsknecht with a plush dick sewn to his pants).

Master Knuut came through with a new order I received after the USPS lost the first one. I am pleased

They only ever lose my international shipments.
The new tracking system sucks tho. It's a paperwork nightmare now.
