hand-dished sca helm 4 sale

Post by eowyn »

Yes, hand dished, homemade SCA combat helm for sale! I just got a new one and I have to part with the old to pay the bills. This is a wonderful helm, nicely rounded hand dished top, with three segments of an articulated lobster tail, the front bar grill lifts up for that much needed drink of water or abuteral inhaler, or for ease of putting on. It is rated a size large, but with three layers of padding, I can wear it on my 21" head Image I can send pics to those intersted in a few days prively as I do not have my CD with the pics on me right now. It basicly looks like a football helm with a grill. The grill however falls a little wide of the 1" allowable by sca standards on a few bars, so I have it wrapped in leather to pass inspection. A crafty armourer ought to be able to fix that with some extra bars welded on it. I would like to get $100 if I can, and believe me its worth it. PLease respond privately to eoswiftlere@yahoo.com and give me a few days to get back to you; I do not have internet access at home. The first $100 takes it. Thanks a bunch.

some where in upstate NY shire of hartstone
its a nice helm but last I knew eo did not have a digital camera...
the bar grill was off by probibly 1/8 so the bars were wraped with leather to meet sca standards.
eo is porobibly one of the most trustworthy people I have met period.
so you can trust the discription.

btw eo are you heading to L&L this weekend?

I can get you pics as I have a few saved on the computer from Pennsic. A friend of mine took them with his dig. camera. I'll get them to you a little later as I have to run now.

LOSTHELM: No Bill I'm not going to L&L. I don't think anyone is as that is also the day of Sofie's coronation. Sorry. Talk soon.

Send me a picture to morganbuchanan@hotmail.com and I'll host it on my home.armourarchive.org site and put a link to it in this thread for everyone to see. I've got some local guys who are interested in having loaner gear.

I think the helm is sold. One of my friends is giving me cash this saturday. If she doesn't, I'll re-post here. Thanks to all who inquired.
