wanted to buy, hardened leater vambracers
Working on reducing weight on my kit (not to mention my person). Im going to keep using the same 3 pc elbows but I want to scrap my old steel vambraces for hardened leather. Wouldn't mind replacing my legs with the same.
Poster child for poor impulse control....

I have a used pair of cuirboulli vambraces. I'm on my way out the door, but I can dig them out of the box and send you a photo with measurements a bit later today.

Re: wanted to buy, hardened leater vambracers
I just emailed you pics, including in each shot a ruler or tape measure to show the different dimensions. Let me know if anything doesn't make sense. They're laced up the inside of the forearm with leather thongs, so the circumference is adjustable. The leather appears to be wax-hardened, about 1/4" thick and pretty damn bombproof. Got them off the Archive myself some years ago, never made use of them. PM me if interested and we'll negotiate.
