Sallet, german style, late 15th century of very high quality.
Made by the Danish armourer Per Jensen.

Yes that one including my armour is seen in the book, though Im not the one who wears it.

Victor,
Can you tell me what period that Sallet was from? What gauge is that helm made with? I am in the SCA, using a German persona and I am really in love with the Sallet design.

The model is from the 1470-80´s. The steel is about 1,5-2 mm, a bit thicker on the top and a bit thinner in some parts (1.5 mm), but theres is a rollong edge 3 mm wide.
