Yes. I still make armouring tools, however I make them on an as needed basis, I do not keep a current stock.
No payment until they are finished ready to ship.

This allows me to customize to your particular needs.
Currently, I am building a set of my finger gaunt tools in three different sizes.
This is a custom request and a first. I have only made a mixed set of small and medium in the past.

I would be would be honored to assist with your tool needs.
My goal has been to provide quality tools at a reasonable price to newbies and intermediate armourers.
However... I can not read minds and would need specific guide lines and parameters.
I can offer my limited experience as to how some of my standard tools work.
Please remember that the shape and condition of your hammer plays a crucial role.

The best advice I can give is... You have to work at it.
If you don't allow it to happen it never will, trust your Muse.

My favorite armouring moment:
I was hammering a dragon wing flute and the metal moved under my hammer as a slow motion liquid wave.
The moment I realized what I was looking at... it went away.

You've done great work right here. I need to follow my Muse, and look again at the tools I've got from you and use them properly, then if that doesn't work I'll buy more tools from you and do my best to use them properly.

Dishing, planishing, raising, etc...I'm good on. My fluting looks like a team of blind monkeys on Monster drinks attemped to write their names into steel.

I need to sit back and think now.

Hi Hal,

Do you have an almost idiot proof fluting tool? I've long admired the fluting that is produced by members of the Archive, but my fluting always turns out horribly. I've got one of your fluting tools but I think that is for after the crease is started as per the tutorial below:

What should I buy from you to ensure that I can flute? Or is this just a user error and the only fluting I should do is listening to Jethro Tull?

That is not how I flute. I rarely start with an inside crease.
It is helpful sometimes, just use a cold chisel that has been blunted.

I place my metal over the fluting stake and use a raising hammer on each side.
That pushes the metal down on each side, resulting in a raised up flute.
I come back with a polished small flat hammer to sharpen and clean them up.
