I bought this here on AA from Therion with the plan of putting together a new jousting harness. Plans have changed so I'm putting it back on the market and using Therion's photos and description:

Mild steel, armorer unknown. Probably made for jousting - the main breastplate is thicker than the other elements - spot measurements vary from 2.75 mm (top of breastplate) to 1.75 mm (tassets and back), with areas measuring 1.6 to 2 mm (curse you, cheap micrometer!)

Roughly sized: will fit an xl to xxl sized fighter.

breastplate:
center line 16 3/4" (neck to bottom)
center line 18" including faulds
width across top with side plates extended: 10 1/2"
width at widest 25 1/2" (top of arm cutouts)
width of curve following waistline: 27"
width across bottom of longest fauld: 30 1/2"
9 lb 11.5 oz

backplate:
top to bottom 18 1/4"
widest part: 124"
waist curve: 19 1/2" (roped border to roped border)
5 lb 8.5 oz

tassets:
11 1/2" long
top of each lame:
13 1/2", 12 1/4", 12"
2 lb 8.0 oz /each

$400 (which covers lower 48 U.S. shipping), prefer Paypal.

This is the first one of these I ever made back in 1997. The breast plate is made from 14 gauge with the rest made from 16 gauge.

Payment sent. AL, how many of the 16th Century style did you end up producing?

A dozen, maybe over the years. This is the only one with a 14 gauge front, the others were 16 gauge.

All the edges are also rolled over wire. This was originally part of a complete half armour ( casquettel burgeonette, gorget, pauldrons, 16th century arms, fingered gauntlets and the B&B plates ) that I had up for a number of seasons at my booth at the local renfaire and could never sell so I eventually parted the elemements out. The left arm from it is the only element I still have.
