Any interest in a full set of Anshelm Arms legs?

Salutations to the archive,

I have a set of brand new, unused, unworn cuisses, cased greaves and sabatons in spring steel that are not likely to get used anytime soon as my work has just moved me to one of the most remote places on the planet for the foreseeable future.

I bought these originally for BOTN/ACL combat and it would be a shame to let them sit coated in oil unused.

I waited almost a year to take delivery of these legs and it frankly hurts me to let them go but needs must.

I'm at work for another week so I can't post pics just yet but they are-

Composite Late-14th Century Leg Harness

Composite Late-14th Century Cased Greaves

Composite Late-14th Century Sabatons

As seen here.

http://www.anshelmarms.com/legs.html

They are not highly polished, (that's not the way I roll) they are a satin finish and they are fully strapped (no holes punched) with top quality Latino leather.

Now the important stuff, price. All I want is what I payed, which is about (I'll get the exact figure later) $3200 plus you pay the shipping.

Sizeing (yeah I almost forgot) I can't get the exact sizes right now (I'm away from home) but I'm 6'4" in height, weigh about 100kilos and have a size 11 foot (the sabatons are sized for a Viking leather craft 14th C turnshoe) I think that's a US 12.

Anyone interested? (No splits, it's a package deal!)

Beautiful armor, but I just can't swing the cost. :-(

Sorry I have to do this...

Yup, those latinos make great leather. Some might even say "Rich corinthian leather"

(Latigo is the proper term)

For 3200 bucks, you should have current up to date photos and accurate measurements. Also at that price range you are going to have to be more patient, it's not exactly at the common end of what moves around here.

Yep, which is why I made a point of saying that I'm working awày from home ATM and that I'll post pics and measurements as soon as I get back.

As for being patiant, would you prefer I just said *bump* instead?

I could use the Sabatons...but it doesn't sound like you want to break up the set.

Between the price tag and the need for any potential buyers to have similarly sized legs AND feet, the potential pool of buyers for the whole package is minute. I'd be willing to bet that you'll have to part out the pieces in order to move them. Good luck with the sale.

I so want to say I'll take these - but unless money falls from the skies it just ain't gonna happen...
At least I'll probably have near the cheapest shipping of any prospective buyers...

Cheers

Sorry buddy, if i try parting out the set i'm likely to be left with odds and sods that are of no use to me.

I'm your size and my shipping costs would be way lower than Oz's... but I just can't justify that price. Sorry Mike - good luck with the sale!

P.S. *bump*
