This one is $350.
$260 for basic cuirass and fauld and $90 for cover (materials and work).

Not a bad price, but my question was about how hard of a hit can it take?
I am not familiar with how hard the European LARPS hit.

Our armors can take really hard hits. I posted videos with crash tests on page 1.
They are designed for any kind of foam weapon fighting.
I tested a set of plates in steel weapon buhurt personally. It protects well but the surface crumbles.

He does some great tests with hammers the helmets would be to light for SCA fighting but I wonder how well the arms etc would work. I think for SCA sabatons and or case greaves would be good to go. My only concern is how jagged fiberglass is after it breaks.

Well, it`s comparable to broken soft wood (or plywood) with short small splinters. But You have to try really hard to break it.
