It has a few flaws. None of which are very noticeable, but wouldn't feel right selling it without listing them here. The finish is not perfect. It's way better than the rough finish it started as, but it is not the perfect smooth even finish of $500+ helm done by a professional. The drape was made from a split leather welding apron and has a few (5) holes in it from where I took the pockets off. Four of them are in the back. Two of those are spaced evenly along the brow line in between the rivets. You can see one of these in the picture that has the view of the back. The other hole is in the front and can be seen in the straight on shot in the lower left of the picture. This one could be cut out by making the drape about an inch shorter as it's right on the edge. Also, if you look at the helm from a birds eye view, you can see that the side spangen panel don't match up perfectly. You can only really see this from top so it's not very noticeable. You can see what I'm talking about in the fifth photo down.
The inside dimensions are 8 3/4" front to back and 8 1/2" side to side. If I'm not mistaken, Hjalmr makes these helms from 14 ga. stainless. I would like $220. Buyer pays actual shipping cost or local pickup in the Oklahoma City area or at Bordermarch Autumn Melees. Let me know if you need anymore pics or info.
