AL from Mercenary Tailor started this tradition a few years back and we would like to carry it on. For the next few weeks, we will be giving away $50 gift certificates to your choice of these fine armories. Icefalcon Armories, Pitbull Armories, Mercenary Tailor, Rough from the Hammer and Viking Leathercrafts. We will add more armories as we contact them to see if they want to be included.
To enter, you just have to order something from the site,
http://www.vikingleathercrafts.com If you order 2 somethings, your name goes in the hat twice, 10 somethings, 10 times, and so on. Now we are only going to count orders of lammelar plates as 1, not 50,

.
When we pull the winning name, you will be given your choice of the armories, we will send money on your behalf, and you can talk over what you would like with that armory, it is that simple. We started this drawing last weekend with our sale, the name will be drawn on Sunday evening. Good Luck to you, thank you for your patronage all year, and have a very Merry Christmas.
From all of us at Viking Leathercrafts

I thought Mercenary Tailor had closed shop and he was just selling off old stock that he happened by or projects he finished as a pure hobby.

AL sells on this forum quite often. He takes a custom job on occasion. I have only included businessmen that I can personally vouch for and have done business with over the years. These are some of the best I know.
Mercenary Tailor is still in business, and he started this tradition of spreading the business between businesses during economic downtimes and he will always be included in our sales, and we will always carry his products as long as he makes them. We are carrying his handmade buckles in stainless and brass on the site.
Thanks for the question, just felt that I should answer a bit more than just a small note.

I have purchased a number of pieces (custom) from Al in the last year and look forward to purchasing more. He is impeccably reliable, well priced and his craftsmanship is second to none. And a hellva nice guy to deal with to boot.
He does have a much reduced website, it's
http://merctailor.webs.com/ - he has his in stock inventory, a gallery and contact info.
Y'all should buy something from him.

I'm glad you're keeping this tradition alive!
I can, and will, personally vouch for Icefalcon Armories, Mercenary Tailor and Viking Leathercrafts. I've had wonderful purchasing experiences with these vendors.
Although I have no direct experience with Pitbull Armories or Rough from the Hammer, a search on this and other forums will tell you these are quality shops.
Nice work Frank!

First Winner has been chosen. We have contacted the winner. If they want their name published we will add it to this thread. Congratulations. We will pick another winner for a $50 gift certificate next Monday.
