I have shipped shields before and usually create a cardbord cover.
I know some folks just address the shield and ship it. Can I get some info on this method?

I've done same as you, done a cardboard cover. But I have gotten shields from Windrose and other places that either just had a sticker on them, or were wrapped in the clear plastic clingy stuff.

UPS wants it in a package. Some cardboard front and back taped on the edge. Wam Bam thankyou Mam.

For years I shipped them in cardboard but then just started writing the adress on it with a sharpie , Through USPS.

I got mine from Mandrake with a label taped to the front of it.
That was years ago though.
