Greetings All!
I hate to come here once again with this but it seems unavoidable. I am searching for Andrew Knight, he is in the SCA and is stationed at Lackland air base in Texas. Some time ago I posted a message here about me commissioning a helm with Andrew and him effectively disappearing with my money.
I also expressed my desire to resolve this matter honorably and without any undue or unwanted intercession by a third party.
I received a few messages from the board which eventually prompted him to contact me about a month ago. After many more unmet and broken promises to return my money, he has again disappeared on me and won't return any of my e-mails as well.
He occasionally visits this board so I am either hoping that he reads this and is embarassed into finally making good his word, or if any of you know how I may reach him I would be in your debt. Thank you all.

If Mr. Knight disappeared, I don't think it was intentional. He'd been deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In most cases when a soldier, sailor or airman has a debt that is long-standing, finding what unit they belong to and contacting their commander usually gets results. The military doesn't look kindly upon indebtedness.

He was not deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom, he is just sitting at home hiding from people. Trust me, I had to go through hell to get a gauntlet he ripped me off on, only to have him send me a total piece of garbage in the end, just to shut me up.
David- He's in San Antonio last I harrassed him, he's listed in the phone directory under A. Knight. THere's a few, keep trying. Call the San Antonio police, the decective there was very helpful when I spoke to him, offered to communicate with military police, even told me if I showed up in San Antonio he would give me an escort over to Andrew's house to recover my stolen helmet.
Andrew is a thief, plain and simple. DO not deal with him like this is an SCA transaction between two friends, deal with him in the 'real world' as someone who has made off with your money. COntact the police, look into postal fraud. I'd encourage you to press for a refund, from my experience if you let him fill your order now, he will send you unuseable shit just to shut you up.
