Okay. The first set I did of these I hated the courts. They were really, really crappy. So I went back to the drawing board (hah-hah) and as I was working came up with this idea. The Germans and the Swiss took to playing cards like a duck to water. They got really creative with them and used a lot of suits. So I got the idea of offering a 'build your own deck' deal. You can assemble your own deck by picking four suits from the available suits. Currently I've got: bells, acorns, shields, birds, crowns, flowers. I'm adding: swords, batons, clubs, coins, cups, and a couple of others. All documented for 15th-16th Century Northern Europe. The courts are currently: King, Over, Under (the over and under are kind of like the knight and knave or two jacks). I'll be adding a queen shortly.

The cards are printed on modern cardstock. They are black and white and the cards are mini-size (half the size of a standard poker deck, yes, this is historically accurate). They can have a solid white back (historically accurate), a solid black back (also historically accurate, but more Austrian), an ornate black and white back (more 16th century, but there are some 15th century examples). The great thing about mini-size decks is they are affordable. We charge $8 a deck plus shipping (usually about $6 in the continental US). If you order $45 or more of decks we can probably offer you free shipping just about anywhere in the world.

PM or email me with a zip code and/or mailing address and a list of what you want and I'll send you a firm quote. We can process payment through PayPal or Square.
