I remember when you bought that helm- I really wanted it but had recently bough another very nice Rus style helm with a horsetail- I believe the last one Adam did.
Now, this helm is up for sale again and I just bought two 14c Russian helms, one of them likely the last ACL one that Dave at Aesir is doing.
And history repeats itself...

Almost precisely. My hair, braided and wrapped, gave my head a circumference of 21.5".

The sale fell through and I initially decided to hold on to it. But circumstances have changed, so listing it again.

If this helmet has a 29" internal circumference it should fit a head up to 25.5" with 1/2" of padding or 22.5" with an inch of padding. I imagine it was enormous on you with your 21.5" head.

It was well padded and I have a LOT of hair that we be braided and wound up underneath.
