helm for a fighter with small sized head

Post by freiman the minstrel »

Guys,

I have a friend who is wanting to "get into the game". I want to help her find a helm. I have two minor stumbling blocks.

First, She is in Chicago, and I am in Bavaria.

Second, She has a small sized noggin. I mean it. We went to every armour stall at Pennsic, and only found two brain buckets that might be padded out to fit her, and I didn't really like the fit on either one.

Please note that I am probably not ordering this month. I am a teacher, and I need to wait until the school year gets a little further along. Summer vacations are great, but going three months without getting paid is a little inconvienient.

I would like to get her something a little nicer than a hundred dollar spun dome. It would be nice if she had a helm she could "grow into" (as a fighter, not in size). So something in the 150 - 250$(US) range would be nice.

So does anybody have a hard top in a small size sitting around the shop? I just wanted to check.

I could sell her my stainless bar grill, I have a pretty small head at 21 inches. Nobody in my barony can wear it but me its just to small for em.

I would like to get 175 out of it as I originally paid over 200.

Let me know, I will be in the chicago area oct 11th for the armours guild meeting and could bring it along.

If nothing else pans out freiman, give me a call. I might have a Tautenhaup (finishing it up right now which turns out to be a bit too small for the designed customer...

And Shepherds we shall be
for thee my lord for thee
power hath descended forth from thy hand
so that my feet may swiftly carry out thy command
And we shall flow a river forth unto thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be
In nomini patriath, fili, espritus sancti.
