Ukrainian Package

Got my delivery from Armstreet today. Lovely shoulders and greaves with shipment right on schedule.

I almost missed them as the Postman was driving off without coming to my door or leaving me a "you missed your package slip" Upon seeing me he stopped the vehicle and said "Oh, I have a package for you." How nice..

If you have a package coming from the Ukraine, any problems are most likely on our side of the pond and not theirs.

My prayers go out for all the folks over there and what their having to deal with. If you had plans to deal with Ukrainian Merchants, They're still open for business and producing quality products.

First time I bought from arsmtreet, my local usps messed up. They didn't bother coming to my house or to leave a slip saying a they came. They just straight lied about the shipment and was going to send it all the way back to Ukraine. I had to run to two places to get the package back.

My regular postman is sick and although this guy was on schedule, I have to wonder how many packages he didn't even attempt to deliver.

I ordered from Armstreet once. They didn't tell me that it would take 4 months to have the item made and shipped from the Ukraine.

It's all about expectations. I won't ever buy from Armstreet again. Had they told me that it was going to take 4 months, then I would not have been so pissed off because I would have expected to wait 4 months. Too late, they lost me as a customer.

Four months? Depending on the item I think thats very fast for custom work. I have waited longer with U.S. merchants for soft kit, Let alone metal. But to each their own. Expectations vary. I hope you at least liked your stuff Harry! To the armstreet gang... keep making quality armor out of dirt and minerals, heat and sweat. I like your stuff :)

Four months isn't bad at all. I waited over a year for my helmet.

I just don't like buying from overseas. Armstreet has one of the best customer service, they literately respond to you in a day while others take about a week and some never respond.

My custom made items were ordered on Aug 12 and estimations of manufacture and delivery times are right on the web/item order page. My only anxiety was U.S. Customs..

Not to derail, but a similar thing happened to me last week. Waiting for package, see mailman pull up and fill mail box, go to box find a slip saying "couldn't deliver package, pick up at post office, has address for po across town, drive over there (20 min drive) stand in line, they tell me package is actually at the PO 5 min from house, but sometimes they swap slips back and forth if one PO runs out. WTF? I wasn't...happy.

Yes, USPS has been top notch, but now, they're more like the UPS/FedEx guy who mentally knocks on your door whislt driving past because they are late.

They were pretty dead on with their estimates, and excellent communication.

I second the comment on mertailor I've got nothing positive things to say after buying nearly a full kit from Al. Beautiful work done very very fast and incredibly low priced compared to any other craftsman.
