Any interest in Ti Lamalar Plates?

Post by adric »

Any body have any interest either an "international" ish 7 hole pattern or the birka in a 20ga Ti? I have been talking to my brother who's company puts people togather, ie, they find folks who can make what you want made. At any rate he had mentioned that he may be able to get a beter price on stamped stuff by shopping the product and Ti came up as a posible material.

I have no idea about price but i would think it would need to stay around a 75 cents to a buck to be considered a reasonable option. Figuring it takes about 300-350 plates to make a big guy vest would $350.00 be unreasonable for a suit all things considered? Just sticking a foot in the water...

I'm with Tarquin. Brass or bronze, especially in a Birka plate.

I've been saving up for enough for a full suit of Ti. I was going to go Birka, and make two suits, to pay for it. I figure 20 lbs of .35 ought to do it.

My master might be interested... E-mail me if this becomes a real possibility. He is a big man, and would require a large number of plates.

International style plates in Ti would be cool. I'd be tempted to get some. Keep us informed of the possibility.
