Hello

I am looking at placing an order for 5 -10 sets of 14th century/ "soup can" style knees and elbows in stainless steel with rondels on the arms.

We are making a push for a COTT style tournament next Easter so want these available for people to use as an easy entry point.

I would need them in about 3 months.

I live in Australia

Just putting if out there to see if anyone is interested and at what price?

Aren't you pretty much limited to Aussie armorers, then?
I imagine that even if someone in the US shipped them all out when I hit "Submit" on this post, that you'd still not have them in time.

Over the years I have ordered alot of armour and fighting bits and pieces out of the US and have found the average delivery time to Australia is about 2 weeks assuming air mail. It is expensive but that is just how it is.

Just the cops without holes punched or drilled?
Or do you need them fully strapped and ready to go?

16 gauge stainless? or 14?
(I tend to think 18 is a bit thin even in stainless, but thats just me.)

Al/Mercinarys tailor has the best looking ones. But I think he works primarily in mild steel.
Mine are coming out a bit more munition grade.
Cet/rough from the hammer does stainless but the cops are basic.
Rober stokewood does fairly good work as well.
Mal Tolby also offers cops.

I'm not doing stainless.

You maybe able to avoid some shipping cost if someone is able to pick them up at pennsic.

I have them in stock and can ship them out to you tomorrow. USPS Priority mail should be there by next week then it would be up to your customs.

Thanks much for the referals. As mentioned however I can't afford the material cost of satans metal so work in mild. If you want stainless Icefalcon is your guy for these.

I'd go with AL as well...he's made me numerous pieces, all mild steel and even so, not really prone to rust so long as you do a little maintenance.

I would suggest CLANG but he's in Europe right now.

I agree with all of these posts. Al and Clang are very good artists. Anshelm does nice work as well.
